So we took the kids out to Shrek the third which was playing at the dollar theater. We were half way through the movie and we were doing well. I was particularly well for I had my butter popcorn and Twizzlers.
Then Connor proceeds to put his arm INTO the pop holder that is in the arm rest and get it stuck. Sue and I try to get it out, he screams, we tried to straighten his arm, he screams more, then laughs at a really funny part but goes back to screaming. I start putting butter on his arm from the bottom of my popcorn to get it lose. Then Sue puts what she has left of her lotion on it. But he is still screaming. I leave to get the manager in hopes of helping my child and to give everybody their money back for the movie. As I am getting the manager excited to call the fire truck to get the jaws of life, Sue runs to us and says she got it out. I get back and he is laughing at the next funny bit.
Moral of the story, always buy buttered popcorn and have hand lotion ready ....and a gag...when you go to the movie.
